LAUNCHING A FILM DEDICATED TO SUICIDE PREVENTION WITH NEW LIFELINE AMBASSADOR, DARYL ELLIOTT GREEN
In May 2000, the nation was shocked when three Queensland police officers were ambushed, shot and left for dead while investigating a routine neighbourhood dispute.
Despite shattering their lives, amazingly they all survived.
Today, one of the officers is using his experience to help others.
Daryl Elliott Green will speak briefly about his near death experience and its aftermath at this special Lifeline fundraising event, hosted by Mark Ryan MP, Minister for Police.
A short film on Daryl’s incredible story by director Michael Hanson will also be launched.
The film, dedicated to suicide prevention, will precede Daryl’s announcement as a Lifeline ambassador.
