A police swearing-in ceremony was also the occasion for three officers to be recognised for their bravery. The officers, Chris Mulhall, Sharnelle Cole and Daryl Elliott Green were shot by Nigel Parodi. Brett Price, the first officer to come to their assistance, was also recognised.
